Not sure where your venue stands acoustically?

Tell us about your venue. We will assess the information and advise you on the most appropriate next step.

(a) Positioning

Your venue is a business. Sound is part of its infrastructure.

A wedding venue depends on its ability to host successful events, season after season. That ability rests on the relationship between amplified sound, guests, the buildings themselves, neighbouring properties and local requirements.

Treated as an afterthought, sound becomes a source of complaints, restrictions and reactive works. Treated as infrastructure — planned alongside kitchens, accommodation and landscaping — it becomes one of the venue's strongest assets.

Acoustic Expertise

  • Measurement, modelling and structural transmission
  • Isolation, treatment and reverberation control
  • Noise impact assessment and EINS methodology

Wedding Industry Experience

  • How DJs and live bands actually deploy systems
  • Ceremony, dinner and late-night realities
  • Courtyards, barns, orangeries and outdoor dance floors

We combine both.

Recommendations are based not only on acoustic theory, but on how wedding venues actually operate — the timings, the suppliers, the equipment that arrives on the day and the way guests move through a property from afternoon into the early hours.

Which service fits

We will tell you which of these your venue actually needs.

Tell us about your venue. We will assess the information and advise you on the most appropriate next step — an audit, an EINS, sound design, or simply a conversation.

(d) The Wedding Day

One venue. Five acoustic environments in a single day.

  1. 01

    Ceremony

    Speech intelligibility outdoors, minimal reinforcement.

  2. 02

    Cocktail

Dispersed background music across terraces and gardens.

  3. 03

    Dinner

Conversation-first levels inside reverberant stone rooms.

  4. 04

    Party

Full-range amplified music and low-frequency energy.

  5. 05

    After-party

Late-night levels, contained spaces, neighbour sensitivity.

Indoors, energy builds in the room. Outdoors, sound leaves the site — and keeps travelling.

(e) The Boundary

Risk is decided at the property line, not on the dance floor.

Distance, orientation, screening and the character of the nearest dwellings determine what a venue can sustain late at night. Those relationships are measured and mapped before any system or restriction is proposed.

(f) The Objective

The goal isn't simply to make a venue quieter. The goal is to control sound intelligently.

A venue that has been made quiet is a venue that has lost part of its offer. The objective is to deliver the acoustic performance required where it matters — the ceremony lawn, the dinner room, the dance floor — while managing unwanted transmission beyond the event environment.

That balance is achieved through design, placement, containment and operational management rather than blanket restriction.

Trust & credentials

Stated plainly. Nothing inflated.

Venue owners are asked to trust acoustic advice with real commercial consequences. For that reason this page carries only what can be evidenced. Where a credential is still being verified it is marked as such rather than implied.

We work alongside architects, project managers, installers and, where a project requires it, French acoustic consultants for regulatory studies.

Project-dependent

Relevant experience

  • Weddings and private events delivered as a working sound professional, not only assessed on paper.
  • Châteaux, domaines, stone barns, orangeries, courtyards and open-air ceremony spaces.
  • Live bands, DJ systems and supplier-provided equipment as it actually arrives on the day.
  • Venues at planning, renovation and in-season operational stages.
